New Hope Vero Beach at Leisure Square is a church plant of New Hope Church in Alliance, Ohio. Senior Pastor Don Nicely had a vision of having a second campus in Florida that was an outreach church that does what no other church in the Vero Beach area was doing. Pastor Don came to New Hope in Alliance in August of 2004.

The church was in a bad way and needed serious attention. There were only about eight (8) people coming regularly, the gutters were falling off, only one furnace was working, and a myriad of other issues. But Pastor Don is all in and began to fix things, even at his own personal cost.

He then began to do a Back-To-School Bash giving school supplies to families and having a big carnival all for free to the community. It has become a staple event people look forward to every year giving backpacks full of supplies to what has grown to nearly three hundred (300) kids. New Hope in Alliance grew about ten (10) times what it started with when Pastor Don came.

Fast forward to 2017, the Lord laid it on Pastor Don’s heart it was time to take the vision to Florida. There was a church vote and Pastor got a unanimous “yes” to taking New Hope to Florida to plant a satellite of New Hope in Alliance. After much struggle in finding a place outside of a living room to hold church, Pastor Don was able to acquire a room at Leisure Square to have services. Services are at 9:45am on Sunday mornings.
